Fourteen Salmonella Enterica Isolates Recovered From Travelers

mcr-1-positive isolate was found in fourteen patients with reported travel to DR, the Wizard genomic DNA purification kit was used to extract Genomic DNA. Further work to elucidate the extent of mcr-1 dissemination, potential sources, and the risk for human exposure could include testing throughout chicken production in the DR.
